Spain Football

The articles included here all form part of an ongoing GoogleKnols project that I started prior to setting up Spain Football. Most of the Football Knols are 'work in progress' and will develop in time into definitive articles on the history of football in Spain. The Catalonia Knols are excerpts from my book 'Going Native in Catalonia' and this section will also develop as I take on new projects associated with Catalan or Spanish culture and history

GoogleKnols is a project set up by Google, which aims to challenge Wikipedia as the prime reference source on the Internet. The main difference between Wikis and Knols is that Wikis are encyclopedia entries whereas  Knols are articles written by experts. This means that the same subject can be covered by a number of different authors and so researchers can compare information and points of view. My Knol profile can be found here.

• RCD Espanyol - A Difficult History - A Brief Hstory of Espanyol and its difficult position as Barcelona's second club.
• Getafe Cf - From Rags to Riches - A Brief History of Getafe.
